Building an Embedded Analytics Model for Marketing

Josh Moe, Senior Manager Analytics

Steve Slater, Director Channel Strategy & Execution

Our June roundtable will feature Josh Moe, a healthcare analytics leader and Steve Slater, a digital marketing leader at HealthPartners. They’ll share how they’ve built an embedded analytics model for marketing at HealthPartners.

This session will explore how a centralized DataOps model has enabled a more scalable and effective approach to marketing analytics. Rather than building a standalone analytics team within Marketing, we invested in a centralized function composed of data analysts, data engineers, and data scientists, while building analytics competencies directly within marketing and communications teams. The result has been stronger cross-functional alignment, more self-service, greater technical depth, and the ability to deliver more actionable insights to marketing stakeholders.

Josh and Steve will discuss the operating model, partnership structure, and processes that have helped create a more integrated and mature analytics capability.

Quantifying Marketing ROI & Telling the Story to the Board

Anne Tallman
Fractional CMO & Advisor

You already know marketing drives the business. The harder part is proving it with numbers your CFO trusts and a story that resonates with your CEO and board.

Most senior marketers have access to more performance data than ever, yet the measurement frameworks that worked five years ago do not hold up in a cookieless, AI-enabled, ROI-scrutinized 2026. The gap between what marketing knows about its own impact and how that impact lands at the executive level has never been wider.

Join Anne Tallman, senior marketing advisor and fractional CMO with over 15 years in senior brand and marketing roles at Best Buy, Regis Corporation, Mall of America, Life Time, and Bremer Bank. The programs she has led have driven a 64-point lift in brand favorability, contributed to a $450M marketing-influenced pipeline, and delivered the kind of measurable growth that lands in earnings narratives, not just marketing recap decks. You will leave with a sharper perspective on what is actually working in 2026, a clearer view of the biggest measurement and storytelling traps, and a better sense of where to invest your time and attention next.
